Trying to figure out what to do with your dad on Father’s Day in Atlanta this year? I’ve listed 10 places to take Dad in Atlanta this Father’s Day (2019). Let’s be honest, most guys like eating food or watching sports. If your dad is into either of these, then this list is for you. (Oh, and if they prefer art…there is a little something for that dad too!) All events listed below occur on Father’s Day, June 16th.

For the Foodie –

Buffet at Southern Art Bourbon Bar: If your dad is into bourbon, beer, and golf – then this is for him! Southern Art in Buckhead will be hosting a buffet brunch in conjunction with bourbon and beer samples plus dad can test their golf skills on the golf simulator.  (

Brunch at Park Tavern: Park Tavern will host a buffet to celebrate all dads and what better way to do this than by hanging out next to Piedmont Park. You might even want to head over to Piedmont Park’s pool afterwards to cool off!   (

Family Food Fest: A multicultural food tasting exhibit located at the Georgia Railroad Freight Depot.  (

Steak & Eggs: Sweetwater Brewry will be pulling out the big green eggs to serve up NY strip steaks, side, and a pint of beer. Plus, there will be a mini putt-putt course and comedian to entertain you. (

Father’s Day Pasta Class – Try a little something different with dad and learn how to make pasta! Head over to Bellina Alimentari at Ponce City Market for a pasta making class. (

For the Sports Fanatic –

Atlanta Braves Baseball Game: If your dad likes baseball (or even if he doesn’t), take him to the Braves game who will be taking on the Phillies and experience the new SunTrust stadium.  (

College Football Hall of Fame: If football is more of dad’s thing, then take him downtown to the College Football Hall of Fame where admission for dad’s is free!  (

Top Golf: For the golfer – treat dad to a fun round of Top Golf over on the Westside. (

For the Artistic One –

BYOB Paint & Sip: Even if you don’t have an artistic dad, this class will be fun regardless. Get step-by-step directions on creating an artistic piece worthy of hanging on your wall. Best of all, you can sip on your favorite beverage while painting! (

Father’s Day Portraits in the Park: Screen print a t-shirt together with your dad and take photographs with your printed tee in provided photo booth. This event is at Piedmont Park but space is very limited. (
